A range of (mineral insulated) MI copper sheathed 2-hour fire-rated wiring cables (System 1850). Suitable for hazardous areas. Ultimate performance: fireproof, no smoke generation, zero halogens, high mechanical strength and corrosion resistance, waterproof and non-ageing. UL fire-resistive classified, does not require additional conduit or fireproofing. UL Classified/ ULC Listed: tested to the UL 2196/ULC-S139 fire test standards. Meets requirements of an Electrical Circuit Protective System, as referred to in Articles 695 and 700 of the National Electrical Code (NEC). System 1850 appears in Electrical Circuit Integrity System (FHIT and FHIT7) of the UL/ULC Fire Resistance Directory. Complies with wet-location and LSZH requirements for transit applications as outlined in NFPA 130.
